Foolish Heart Poem by George Albert Basilla

Foolish Heart

Foolish heart you love her still,
yet you know all lies behind her.
You wait for the world to turn around,
yet you know you'll still be on the ground.

You patiently wait for your time to come,
for her to love you, and say 'you're the one'
but sad to say that wont happen,
your time wont come, and soon you'll be forgotten.

Yes thats true Who to blame? Its you,
you and her wont happen, and I know you knew,
yet you still listend to your pathetic foolish heart.
now your breaking and wishing to go back to start

bruise and scars you carved in my arms will heal for a week or two,
but the heart of mine you broke will take me years to renew..
