Foot Steps Clearing My Way Poem by john raymond

Foot Steps Clearing My Way

I am in a room of many books that touch the sky
And know one around to read them
Knowledge that fills the world but one book stands out
So tempting to read it's pages and bright i need to look
The title was: A Life That Belongs To Me
I open to a page and read about a man of anger
And the next page was about man of lust and doubt
The next was a man hate and greed
Each sin seemed to fill the book
I wish to stop reading this evil book
I see me in it's pages and don't want to see no more
i hear food sets I want to hide in dark
But that book is Bright the man who came of light
He picked me up from floor and shows me
What he sees in those pages
A man of love and kindness given and honest
A man that obey with Faith and confidence
The pages i reed with sin were blank with the red
All he said if you are mine those pages are not your story
