For All Its Worth Poem by Sunitria Couser

For All Its Worth

For all its worth
I loved you
Had hoped that you could
Love me too
But you were swept away
In the rivers of life
To these street were strife
Kills each day in every way
I made plans had dreams
Of making you the one
Taking you places only a heart
full of love could take one
But your vision blurred
You lost sight of love
And ran for the hills
Never once looking back
to see the home calling you
the love seeking you
For all its worth
I still love you
would welcome you back
any time of the day
For all its worth
these words i say
these words i mean
are given without any regrets
I Love You
