Hold me in your arms, never let me go,
For all that I am, I want you to know,
I can talk until I have no sound,
I can run until I hit the ground,
I can listen to the world go by,
I can watch the sun die,
I can write a poem in sand,
But I can’t without your hand,
Your hand to hold me,
Your hand to lead me,
For you hand is you love,
Pure and good, like a dove,
Hold me in your arms, never let me go,
For all that I am, I wanted you to know.
