I feel as though I'm losing
The one I consider my best friend
I feel like your pushing me away
That's the message that you send

It seems you never have the time
To visit with me for a while
It seems to me that you've lost
That once beautiful smile

I'm not sure what to say
I know less of what to do
Because it hurts me inside
To think I'm losing you

If you want me to stay away
That's all you have to say
Just tell me what you want
I'll grant your wish today

I know nothing lasts forever
I've heard that said before
But when it came to loving you
I never wanted anyone more
