For Humanism Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

For Humanism

Rating: 5.0

When there is bad omen to take place
The world may find so much rush and mad chase
People may kill people and try to rule
But out come is simple even to be understood by fool

Where are we heading for today?
Destruction of all kind and blocking the way!
Why have we become blood thirsty?
Which god are we pleasing in this way?

We claim to live in civilized world
But relation always remain cold
No love for fellow brethren
That is the main worry or concern

What will happen in years to come?
Will sun loose its shine and dim?
Yes atmosphere is giving away
What kind of future we shall have in our way?

We have found convenient style
We have chosen because it suits for while
Democracy or dictatorship has same face
The mighty rules and poor is always chased

No religion is preaching hatred
Yet we are blindly led
We speak no work for the fear of criticism
The net result is suffering for humanism

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

For Humanism Joanne Francavilla Linarte14 minutes ago I am expecting to see a lot of more of people expressing their feelings of the problems facing our nation today, as in this one from Mr. Mehta. It is like humanity has been lost, as well as hope of a better tomorrow. Which is reflected even in the sun loses it's shine.
