Oh my lord, for I have sinned,
To be born with the sky above,
The earth beneath and everything in between.

For I couldn't control my finicky heart,
That beats so hard for the one it longs,
for whom it has feelings so strong.

Oh my lord, for I have sinned,
To have loved the soul,
For which I was never destined,

For I couldn't see past the gloomy veil,
That hid the horizon, to which, I should sail,
To find my true solace..
