I used to be so lonely, so sad,
no one understood what was inside of me,
Felt like I was just surviving, simply existing,
until I met you.

You came along and changed my life,
showed that you understood what was inside,
Got to know the real me, and still stayed by my side,
you never left me, not even one time.

I was so confused, didn't know what a friend was,
cause I never had one exactly like you,
I didn't have one that would laugh at my jokes,
tease me then hug me and say 'I love you, '

I never had a real, true friend before you,
and through the years, we became best friends,
but I have something I need to say, something
that might not be okay.

You came along and changed my life,
showed that you understood what was inside,
Got to know the real me, and still stayed by my side,
you never left me, not even one time.

So I have to tell you, that I've fallen head over heels,
I'm so crazy about you, I think of you all the time,
and when I dream it's to dream of you.
I know now why I was put on this Earth,
it was for you.

God must've created me, with you in mind,
he must've created me, to love you for all time,
And now that I've found you, I'm never letting you go,
no, cause baby, you're now mine.
