For you my friend
A gift of days
Sumptuous bouquet of hours
All sweet with the earth
For you the wine will pour
And sunlight fill your cup of eyes
The feast is spread
And though you pause
The garden birds rouse you gently,
Give thanks endless for this gift of days
With a voice that's made
For singing
