For Leeds City Council 2 (Council Tax) Poem by Dave Alan Walker

For Leeds City Council 2 (Council Tax)

Rating: 4.7

The serpents are here
they have come for your blood
they want your money
or they want your goods

They say that inability to pay
is no defence
so don't feed your children
they will have to starve

You can't get in the way
of Leeds city council
they have money to make
and people to break

This reminds me of the peasents revolt of 1382 that Richard II put down, and the peasents revolt of 1982 that Queen Maggie put down. It seems nothing changes.
