For Love Poem by Kewayne Wadley

For Love

And at that moment,
The angel turned his back to God,
Awe, struck the creator's face,
As the wrinkles around his eyes straightened,
Again God demanded the angel to listen,
Again he would not,
The angel insisted,
That He loved the woman whom he created, he cherished her,
Cherished her,
From her hair folicals,
To all the flaws, which made her perfect,
The angel recited the hymns he wrote of her hair,
From the lips that sent him to heights felt higher than the clouds they stood,
To the enchantment that sprung from her lips,
He cherished her for the breath of life she gave,
God grew furious with the angel for his mockery, the words of praise,
He saught that all the blessings given to him be brought back,
That the angel's wings be stripped,
And that he be banished to brimstone,
Forever surrounded by blaze,
One of that, which ignited the circumference of the one that burned in his eyes,
The angel, spoke no nevermind,
As vanity wasn't his to begin,
Happily delighted with the choice he made,
A tear shed down his left cheek as his wings were stripped,
He watched painfully, as his brightly lit halo grew dim,
As the cloud beneath him dropped,
He loved this woman with all his heart,
As she became the paradise he was seeking,
For a lifetime in hell,
Couldn't compare to this womans love,
