For Lucille Portlock Poem by Dorothy (Alves) Holmes

For Lucille Portlock

Once long ago
A flower bloomed...
They name her Lucille
'Bringer of Light',
All that know her, know
This to be true...
And in the Ninety years that have followed,
She blooms still and is cherished
For the bright light she brings to the
Gardens of our lives.
