Child of my heart, one of my pair of most treasured gifts,
I wish you this day the joy that should never be missed.
Ahead of you is full twenty-four hours
Of new life to be filled by just YOU
It's your special possession, so whatever you do
Please weave it with smiles
Dont demean it with tears.
Remember to count time by fam'ly and friends
And never, not ever, by years.
