For No Other Reason But To Do It Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

For No Other Reason But To Do It

When you say it is best,
Not to protest annoyance.
And it is better to accept it,
Than make attempts...
To ignore annoyance.
What is it that you mean?

'Sometimes our best efforts,
To avoid what appears...
Becomes noticeable by those,
Who clearly seek to annoy...
For no other reason but to do it.
Just to ensure what they do is received.'
