I want to comfort your soul,
Make your broken heart whole,
We breathe the same beat,
Once more the birds sing,

You make me feel something sad but sweet,
I can taste in my cheeks,
As your heart carries on,
I will write you a love song,

I know there's been loss,
Someone you couldn't get back,
The grief on your face,
Lost someone no'one can replace,

I don't know much of these times,
But I'll comfort you with arms and a warm heart,
And you will feel rested once again,
When the time heals your wounds,
And what was once there will ooze,
But the marks and scars of memory
On your heart will never be forgotten..<3
