For the Fear has Won

The air is thick
The space is small
I room is loud
But no one's here at all

It's chocking me
Cant scream for help
Pinching my dry throat
I cannot save myself

Heart pounding like mad
Beating out of my chest
Hearing every thump
Its loud as if a pest

Mind blank
Body trembling
Shaking, not knowing what to do
I shut down

Tears scream down my face
Pouring the pain out for me
My legs weaken
I fall to the ground

I have fallen
For the fear had taken over me
Leaving me feeling hopeless
The fear has won.
