For The Record Poem by Benjamin EvansRaspison

For The Record

I told you I was a loser
You just wouldn't listen to me
You find it hard to understand
That I’m not like you

You think you know me
You think you love me
I can’t go through with this

When I sit alone I think of death
Oh joy and the benefits it would give to the world if I was wait a sec...
Gone

I still love you
But in a way I don't understand
I will never be happy
That’s just who I am

I’m too weak for you
You need someone strong
I'm a loser
You're a winner
That’s just who I am

I told you I was a lose
You just wouldn't listen to me
You find it hard to understand
That I’m not like you

You think you know me
You think you love me
I can’t go through with this
