For The Sake Of Summers Perpetual Poem by Mark Heathcote

For The Sake Of Summers Perpetual

For the sake of summers perpetual
I have wandered into your arms
To capture one of my own dreams
Truly a sweet-scented jasmine flower
I wanted us to bind amongst the stars
I wanted our two gardens to intermingle
And create an Eden we could share.
I have wandered into your arms
And found a pallet of love
Waiting only my brush my stroke my touch
Against your taut well-framed canvas.
