For Tomorrow And The Day After Poem by Udaya R. Tennakoon

For Tomorrow And The Day After

The sun shines and sets up
Even the light gives differently
Looks for and waits in patiently
To invent a new light
If the world gets ready for a change
End of the day at the west of sun setting down
Shows a symbol of transforming beam
To think of tomorrow and the day after

The smooth light of the moon
Having befriended with stars
The narrative tells in the night
To be soften in the darkness
If the world gets ready for a change
By the new light of the sun who has promised
When a revolution may come true
Galaxy has a transcendent lens
To make an unseen night for every beings

The nature always indicates and predicts
The creatures beside humans voicelessly offer
And gaze for another world
The rivers and seas, forests and hills by their movements show
The necessity of a change for the goodness

Only the creatures called human beings
Wake up late and put their legs in wrong position
Wave their heads and keep secrets
Even it is a time to be corrected
They have themselves divided and shared the Globe
As North and South, East and West and so forth
Draw the lines and build structures
By colors, by shapes and by ideas
Cross uncountable hairy borders
Violate and enforce, dominate and expand

Those who think for a change
Those who talk for a change
Those who work for a change
Must be a creature and must be a nature
Dissolving the cultured human structures of harmful evils
That is cheated the self and sunk in madness by the power

In the world not only humans dream
In the human not only one side dreams
In the one side not only powers dream
All who are belonged to day and night dream
For a righteous life
For a fresh breath
For a fee movement
On the earth, under the skies
Under the shadow of the sun and moon and millions of stars
Humans are the foremost whose hands and hearts are not clean
