For What It Lasted

For what it lasted
It was great

Moments pass
Some with, some without balls

Good men perish
Just like the bad

Legends are those who act great
Great men flourish on most evil planet

It comes to you
With all you take part to

What you do now
Courage you show
Mercy you grant
Love you share
Love to tear
Stand you take,
Choice to make

It comes to you
When time kneels down
&
Engraves memories of you.,
On its most precious immortal life stone.

Poem of the Day

poet Sara Teasdale

I thought of you and how you love this beauty,
And walking up the long beach all alone
I heard the waves breaking in measured thunder
As you and I once heard their monotone.
