For You Poem by Sai Saketh Ram

For You

I walk on the tallest place,
Facing a direction, hoping to see you.
Forgive me, for I am blind,
Maybe by love, but this feeling is true.
I speak to my garden roses every day,
Of the colors you wear.
But, today they look at me dull,
Because, I have no words to share.
This small road you take to walk,
Which, with a pounding heart I follow.
Yet, today it asks me why I walk alone?
And why my heart beats so slow?
They don’t know,
I’ve never put my feelings to words.
They don’t know,
I only speak to them and these birds.
That there is someone at some mile,
Whose face when I remember with a smile.
Gives me a reason to forget all my sorrow.
Gives me a reason to hope for a tomorrow.
