For You Poem by Dragon Crenshaw

For You

I thought you,
Were the one,
Who'd change,
My world,
And love me,
For being free.

I thought you,
Were the one,
Who'd stay and,
Protect me.
But you had to go,
To a different school,
And we never,
Saw each other,
Ever again.

So now,
I cry,
Both night and day,
For you to come back,
But that,
Won't happen.

But I can always say,
That I found you,
And you found me,
And that you,
Helped me,
Find true love,
And that was you.

I'll miss you,
I'll love you,
And I'll fight,
For you...

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I lost my only true friend at my new school because he had to move and go to a different school. I hope he has a better time at the new school than he had here.
