Forbidden Desire Poem by amu sade

Forbidden Desire

If i had the power to change
so long i would have driven away
but my heart pines for the one i cannot have
everything has turned around
years of joy to eternal sadness
what sacrifices we have to make
for that which is beyond our will
such distance we have to move
for the sake of who we are
this feeling i have inside
burning like a candle light
how long will i withhold
all the desire in ma heart
it has become like a void
so blank as black
every breath i take burns my soul
drowning in tears of molten lava
i died the moment we parted ways
