Forbidden Fruit Poem by Leah Johnston

Forbidden Fruit

heartach
my soul did take
you lied, you cheated, you did partake

of forbidden fruit
that wasn't your

of forbidden fruit
you wanted more

like a snake you slid around
without making any sound

how could i have been so naive
not see that you were playing me
i guess i just never wanted to believe
scared that you might leave

well now it's time for me to say good-bye
all because you told a lie..

A bit harsh, you really experinced a betrayl which is portrayed in the poem, but stop vulgar words.
