Forbidden Love...
Forbidden Love...
It's wrong that I should love you,
Yet my heart knows that I do.
You are not allowed to care for me,
But these feelings are so true...
In this world I can't tell you,
That I shall love you every day.
And you cannot reciprocate,
In the way that lovers may...
I know that I am falling,
More and more each day.
For you i'll keep on hoping,
That one day we'll find a way...
So instead we offer friendship,
While inside our hearts do cry.
I'm left to look upon our love,
And it takes my heart so high...
I think you know within you,
That you have won my heart.
I hope that you shall love me,
And we shall never be apart...

Just now I've read your beautiful poem and liked it very much. The title and the first two lines are eye catching. 'I know that I am falling, More and more each day. For you i'll keep on hoping, That one day we'll find a way...' - I love this optimistic note. Very positive and inspiring. 'I think you know within you, That you have won my heart. I hope that you shall love me, And we shall never be apart...' - Well said, may it be so! The poem deserves a rating of 10/10, which I happily give.
