Forbidden Love Poem by Saane Pahulu

Forbidden Love

A single touch burns my flesh
waves of electricity passes through
how so you make my heart
drum a thousand songs
in just one moment?
In jsut one moment in this life?
His eyes reflect the emotions
flashing behind mine
A connection unspoken
yet loud to our ears
Centuries past in one minute
time in the palms of our hands
you read me, i read you
Move with me
Laugh with me
Dance with me
Forbidden love holds us apart
forcing us into secrecy
Secret kisses on lur lips
Secret messages in our eyes
Secret embraces in the dark of night
Secret love in our hearts
