Forbidden Love

Forbidden love is something
That everybody has even if
We hide our true feelings
To the only person who cares
About somebody that is off
Limits. Forbidden love is
Something special to everybody
Even when that person feels
The same way about you but
There are boundaries that
Are in the way of what can
Be true love. This love is hard
To live with but in the end we
All move on unless that boundary
Is broken by the stronger lover
Who doesn't want to lose the
Best thing that has ever happen to
Him or her in their life.

Know'st thou not at the fall of the leaf
How the heart feels a languid grief
Laid on it for a covering,
And how sleep seems a goodly thing
