Forbidden Tears Poem by Kebe Iwara

Forbidden Tears

Rating: 5.0

A gathering cloud
thick with desire
is checked by the blaze of the tallying sun.

When reason cancels
out passion, the heart
is heavy without vent.

Such is the pain of forbidden tears.
For eyes that keep vigil do not weep.
