Forever In Love Poem by Janelle Morehart

Forever In Love

It was in the still of the night
Oh your arms held me so tight
Warm embrace, blushing sweetness
Feather kisses with angelic praise
Butterfly lashes batting in newborn innocence
Shooting stars in celebration
Full moon's glow on a sweet summer evening
Twas then I had loved you
Oh I had loved you so
So many years
So far long ago
Ah my heart it aches
My lips they search but with no avail
Bitterness seeks for me as hatred tinges a lost soul
Sorrow in rose hued tears
Storm eye's rage and rain
Lost love
Sweet love
Gone to me forever more
Find me..oh please find me
Come to me my love
Come be with me
Forever more in this hidden place
Let us be together
Together forever more
In love's lost realm
We shall be lover's forever more
Till the universe shatters
And the earth does die
Even then my love
I shall have you always by my side
