Forever In My Heart Poem by colin thornton

Forever In My Heart

Rating: 5.0

One of my earliest, and fondest, memories from my childhood is listening to my dad singing along to the Pogues' Fairytale of New York. at Christmas Time He wasn’t a great singer but he used to play this and sing along at full volume singing like a linty I wish I could hear his voice just one more time but memories can never fade because my dad will be always on my mind always in my heart I won’t forget you at Christmas time I may be a little sad I will look up towards the sky And say “Merry Christmas Dad”love you always in Our memories will forever stay Your love
will run throughout my heart Until the time we meet one day
