Forever Love Poem by Alex Cairnie

Forever Love

Rating: 4.3

When you are not here, but somehow still, I feel your touch
Six thousand miles apart, and still its you I miss so much
Stolen moments, a love affair we share
In dreams of you each night, into empty space I stare

To be without love, yet to love and not despair
To be detached from touch, but to feel when your not there
To have our time as one, and be as one entwined
And fear nothing out of love, and to loss remain still blind

Time remembered, and spoken plans I made with you
Laughter shared, and equal tears between us too
Forever saved, those moments no one knows
I taste you still, your scent left on my clothes

I found a love with you in the space between my fears
Among the broken dreams the laughter fun and tears
And every truth I told you from the heart
No comprehension of a life with us apart

And once again we bind ourselves in love
Each step the same we fit like hand to glove
For my feelings I have no one else to blame
This love remains and will forever be the same
