I remember the first time you said I love you.
I remember the first time you were there for me.
I remember the first time you held me.
I remember the first time I wasn't scared.

I thought you were the one, who'd stay by my side,
but my thoughts changed and so did I.
You told me you loved me and so I replied,
I looked up to heaven when I looked in your eyes.
Now when we see each other we say our hellos and good-byes

You think I don’t love you.
You think I don’t care.
You think all I remember was the times you weren't there.

You told me we'd be together forever but I guess that was just another lie
Don't ever say forever cause forever makes me cry.

I know that I love you.
I know that I care.
I know all the things I remember are the great times that we shared.

You're the one who broke my heart,
You're the reason my world fell apart

So please don’t say forever because forever makes me cry
