'Forever Thine' Poem by Keith Richmond

'Forever Thine'

'Forever Thine'

Morning brings continued calm,
a palate filled with colors new,
the air a canvas painted fresh,
the afterglow of you.

Love's brush has both painted and revealed
what time has stored away,
that just below the surface safe,
lay waiting for this day,

is Passion's Landscape.

Cherished forever will it be,
now both here and mine,
and here now lives my heart and soul,
both those forever thine.
