Forever Young Poem by Dorsey Baker

Forever Young

Forever young
Wouldn't we
All like to stay
Forever young?

Welcome would
be the day
If we could
All stay
Forever young

forever young
forever young

But the young must
get old or die young
And beauty the beautiful possess
will be gone
Bright eyes
sink into the cabin of the scull
And youthful bodies
turn into skin and bone

Sigh! My mind is forever young. Can't say the same about the rest of me.: -) Thanks for sharing your poem, Dorsey.
