Forget Poem by Danny The Dreamer Boyd

Forget

Rating: 4.5

Am I supposed to just forget the love—
Though undeserved—you showed me night and day?
The countless kisses taking breaths away?
The spirit that has taught me how to live?
The warmth you shed, which led me now to give?
The picture shows that I can't cease to play?
The memories all wrapped in disarray?
The fellowship I seem to've run out of?
Please, let me wallow in my sorrow, sink
Our past, alas, into oblivion,
Drink hard enough till I'm no more upset
That you had left me right here on the brink;
I'm losing grip, like hell you were the one—
The one I am supposed to just forget!
