Forget Everything Poem by that young smart girl

Forget Everything

Rating: 0.5

I try to forget everything,
All that they say,
Maybe if I just smile they will go away.
If I pretend it doesn't hurt me will they eventually stop?
If i laugh along will they get bored of saying these things?
If I maybe walk away will they just watch me slowly leave?
What they say isnt funny to me.
I want so badly to scream at them,
To tell them to knock it off.
But they won't.
No they never will...
To them it is funny..
An easy way to get a good laugh.
If only they understood how I feel,
When they say these things... Then maybe,
Just maybe, they will take it all back,
But they don't know how I feel,
To always want to cry,
And though they hurt me,
I would never wish them the same fate...
Because nobody deserves this much pain...
