Forget It Poem by Amber Millar

Forget It

Rating: 5.0

My heart's beating fit to bust,
My palms are sweating and my stomachs in knots,
His voice is filling my ears and I want to cry,
He's everything I could ever hope for,
But he'll never be mine,
I fought my feelings for so long,
Denying them, trying to forget,
But nothing worked,
Whenever she talks about him,
I just want to cry,
Please, I just want to forget,
Let me forget,
Let me get on with my life without regretting every second,
I wanted him so bad,
I want him so bad,
But he'll never even know,
Just...
Oh, forget it,
If you let me fall for him in the first place, God,
I can't trust you to let me move on,
No, I'll just have to carry on,
Holding in the tears when i see his face,
never being able to forget...
