Forgive Me Poem by Alex Perez

Forgive Me

My thoughts are scrambled and intertwined in such a way, that if you asked me how I felt I wouldn't know what to say,
My emotions draw me in deep; to much for me to bare, I toss and turn when I sleep; and when I wake up I often tend to scare.
Maybe it's out of fear, fear of being alone; that's why when you're not with me I call you on the phone,
But even then when I speak; my expressions I never share; so don't get me wrong; it doesn't meen that I don't care.
I have a funny way of testing you; by finding out if your love is pure, so just by arguing is the path that I endure.
Come on baby I know that it's not right, first chance I get and all I want to do is fight.
At that moment my heart begins to pry, cause instead of saying I Love You, my words just make you cry.
So can you forgive me? , for all the hurt and pain I cause you; well if you don't my reality will begin to fall through.
Now I'll do my best to make it stop; 'real quick' before I turn our love into something that it's not.
Finding out now that your Love is True; makes me realize I truly do love you.
So now I won’t forget, I'll wait for your response, then I'll take the next step.
Because in my heart I truly understand, by saying these words to you makes me feel more like a man.
