Forgiveness Poem by Sallie Marie Tompkins

Forgiveness

Rating: 5.0

Forgiveness is smooth like salt.
It's savor is wonderful and full of substance.
Love covers a multitude of sin,
it's o.k. to release frustrations at the stroke of a pen.
Now true healing begins.
Past wounds inflict future circumstances.
Yet, there must be a way to clear your heart of bitter roots.
You gotta make your smile toot like a train, so good medicine can enter your brain to get a breakthrough from life's pain.
When you forgive, you feel like you have a new name.
Forgive...
It is easy to do, yet the choice is up to you...
Forgive, release, forgive put the devil in defeat, and just forgive, and live once again...
Forgive...
