To make mistakes is human to forgive is divine,
Forgiveness unites, grudges divide,
Forgiveness says nevermind, anger can hurt
Yourself and every around you covered nastily in dirt

But not just any dirt, this kind has a special burn,
Saved for angry hearts, for the virtue of forgiveness that they failed to learn,
So forgive and forget, you deserve that peaceful state of mind,
Once forgiveness is there, happiness you shall find,
