Forgotten Souls Poem by Garrett Westcott

Forgotten Souls

The shadows underneath the bridge
Have but a cheerless life to live
Once they were a part of life
Now they shiver in the bitter night
Hungry, cold tales untold
Clinging to warmth
For death is bold
What awaits these forgotten souls?
As the years pass by
And the toll grows old
