Forgotten Stories

What do you see?
When you flip through the pages rapidly,
When you toss book after book away,
In search of something different,
Something unique,
Something like you,
You look at the scattered words,
And page numbers with haste,
Randomly ripping a page or two out,
And add it to your pile,
Your pile overflowing with strange meanings and care,
But after they’re all gone what will you do,
After all the written novels are gone,
Shredded to pieces at the foot,
At the foot of you room,
This leaves you baffled, you starting to wonder,
So we grab all the bound words we can,
And dash off into the night,
Never looking back,
Back at your house,
Filled with forgotten stories.
