Forgotten Stranger Poem by Tyler Knittle

Forgotten Stranger

I'll stop pretending.
I'll come out of hiding.
I'll go back to who I've been,
You wont recognise me
I'll be a ghost,
An entitiy.
I'll be just one more
Forgotten face

Who am I?
What are you?
Don't you remember or is it
Amnesia.
Am i just another face
in th crowd?
A forgotten stranger.

Do I ring a new bell?
Or am I just a new face?
You've known all along.
It's just ignorance.
What's wrong with me?
Why do you force yourself to forget?
All those memories
that you shouldn't regret.

Who am I?
What are you?
Don't you remember or is it
Amnesia.
Am I just another face
In the crowd?
A forgotten stranger

She's still
thinking.
She's still wishing I were dead
And out of her head.

Who am I?
What are you?
Don't you remember or is it
Amnesia.
Am I just another face
In the crowd?
A forgotten stranger.
