Forty - Four years ago today
I started work in Accountancy,
Not knowing then what I'd become,
Or what would happen to me.

After forty-four years I can look back
Upon my Professional Life,
And wonder how, and what I've done.
Without much worry or much strife.

No formal qualifications do I have,
For at exams I was not good,
But many goals have I achieved,
By doing what I knew was right.

My Health now bad, but willing still
To keep my Faith, and do HIS Will,
To relate to you how I've lived,
And what I've still to do.

As long as HE looks after me,
And wishes that I serve HIM still,
I will continue to live my Life,
According to HIS Commandments and HIS Will.
