Hide behind a past so dark
I look and wish to find a star
Than lost the ability to trust
But whenever I'm withyou
You restore the peace inside of me
I had some bad experiences than you
come along and changed my whole entire world
when I was ready to give up on all of God's creations
Here you come to put a smile on my face
Fear from my past plague's my life
I don't want to be hurt not anymore
And I will no longer have past events threaten my present
I have someone in my life who wants to love me
And I'm going to love with all my might
Because starting now I am changed
And ready to enjoy what
the Lord had made for me to love
