Four Friends - Hope, Faith, Belief And Prayer
There was Hope when light was spotted in the dark;
Marching with a promise, we strode towards the glow;
But mysteriously never reaching the mark.
Rigid the passage, though we never let go.
Faith favorably accompanied en route;
And strangely the end was at arm’s length.
What could we do, for faith to boot?
For the light to be raised with the mighty strength.
Belief appeared and to our revelation,
The light was hoisted high to glow;
Relieved, we did not resign, to temptation;
But to our amazement, shadows engulfed us,
A twisted path to show..
Prayer perched aside - sweet and gentle,
And whispered a line of verse divine.
From the heart, the soul transcendental.
Then instantly, the light within us, shone to redefine.
To receive His blessings your heart should be clear,
And the light in your soul will shine to appear,
And take away all your worries and troubles,
And you will surely win all your battles.
Have always Hope, and you will never fumble
Sprinkle it with faith and you will not stumble.
Nurture it with care, it is a gift rare
Blend it with belief and top it all - with a Prayer.

A good poem on the power of prayer. You have hit the truth when you say: To receive His blessings your heart should be clear, And the light in your soul will shine to appear. Only a mirror that has been cleaned to perfection can really reflect, reflection being is true nature.
Thanks for this beautiful master piece of yours. Yes prayer's will help us in times of distress and pain..with prayer there is hope and faith hoping God will hear our prayers and lend us what we prayed...truly prayers can move mountain..Don't forget love...LOVE is the greatest gift of all.
