Four Streets Later Poem by David Darbyshire

Four Streets Later

Rating: 5.0

Didn't he do well,
he passed the test.
Now he can go deliver the mail,
with all the rest.

Four streets later,
he's in a real mess.
To the Parkers he gave the Peters mail,
to Peters the express.

When the day was finished,
so was he.
He thought about delivering milk,
to go with the Tea.

But that didn't work either you see,
the cow dried up, no milk for tea.
So then he started to deliver, 'singograms',
until he passed his exams.
