Four Walls Poem by Kyle Tadda

Four Walls

I'm terrified of these four walls,
This room from where I gave my all.
I've been tossed against a gate,
Fearing a painful and fiery fate.
Your eyes glowed like a million stars,
And like them, you seem so very far.
I cried and cried when you walked away,
I wanted to hate you, but I never did I say.
I never did stop thinking about you,
Ever time I did I felt new.
Then late that one night,
Where you were my dying light.
Cringing and weeping on the inside,
Wishing for a world that was never truly mine.
