These walls
Come crashing down
Unprotected
Unsafe
From what waits
At the other end
Trapped in the rubble
In the remains
Of what was
My house of glass
My shelter
The place where I belonged
Now reduced
To nothing
But dust
I lie…still
Baseless
Yet again
