Fraud Poem by Lamerre Lucie

Fraud

I have run a long way,
I have made it all;
Now I am out of breath,
And finding out that night has come.

I have run a long way,
For I have been afraid,

Of what could possibly show up
If I slowed down the pace,
And of the secrets I had kept hidden, close to my chest,
That would come out and show the world what a fraud I am.

I have run a long way,
And I am out of breath.
These fears I once held on
Are not worth the running anymore.

I have run a long way,
And I am out of breath.
